DSS Christmas Meals for Needy Families: We will be partnering with Chapel Hill Baptist Church to help provide food for families at Christmas. Our goal is to provide 50 boxes. Each box costs $16 - $20 and will feed a family of four. Pastor Dennis would like to challenge all Sunday School classes, mission groups and individuals to sponsor a box. Money needs to be turned in by Sunday, November 23rd. Families will be able to pick up their boxes of food on Saturday, December 20th from 9 am until 1 pm. People from churches that participate will be there to show support for the families, pray with the families and invite them to worship with them. Boxing food will take place at Chapel Hill Baptist Church on Friday, December 19th at 8:00 am for anyone who would like to help.
On December 8th the RA’s and GA’s will be Christmas Caroling in the community. Please drop your child off at church at 6 pm and pick them up at 8 pm. We are looking forward to this as always!
